By practicing the Drop, Cover, Hold on response, we create muscle memory which helps people act quickly by knowing what to do during an earthquake.
The COVID-19 pandemic means we are adapting to living and working in different ways, however wildfires, storms and earthquakes are still happening. ShakeOut BC is a chance to practice how to be safe when the earth shakes.
You can ShakeOut at home, work, school or even through a video conference with your colleagues while working from home. Make a plan and renew or sign up for ShakeOut BC today.
ShakeOut is a grassroots effort, and your 2020 ShakeOut plan may inspire others, so please share your plans with us: info@shakeoutbc.ca Registrations for your business, organization or school are updated every year – register here and join us for ShakeOut BC 2020.
