New Gate at St. Margaret’s Cemetery

Many thanks to Ron Vandergaag for the design, construction and installation of a beautiful new gate at the Capernwray entrance to St. Margaret’s Cemetery. And thanks to sidekick Eleanor Vandergaag for her assistance during the whole project. What a lovely gift to our community. 

Thanks also to Capernwray for their support in preparing the post holes and for all developmental activities happening at the cemetery. A reminder to all Thetis Islanders and visitors even though there is a new entrance to the cemetery on the Capernwray side access is not possible at this time. Capernwray property remains closed to the public in order to MAINTAIN COVID protocols for the health of their staff and students as well as the Thetis Community. Please respect their request.
