Truth and Reconciliation

These crossed my desk, and just thought there may be interest in the community for the content of these courses.

Looking for self-paced training to help better your understanding of Indigenous cultures, peoples, and worldviews? Here are four free (or minimal cost) university classes: Classes run between 4 to 12 weeks and require 2 to 4 hours of dedicated time per week to complete.

• University of British Columbia – Reconciliation Through Indigenous Education - https://www.edx.org/course/reconciliation-through-indigenous-education

• University of Alberta – Indigenous Canada

https://www.coursera.org/learn/indigenous-canada

• University of Toronto – Aboriginal Worldviews and Education

https://www.coursera.org/learn/aboriginal-education

• Columbia University – Indigenous People’s Rights

https://www.edx.org/course/indigenous-peoples-rights

Reconciliation through Indigenous Education Course: Registration is still open for the latest free offering for Reconciliation through Indigenous Education, a 6-week Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) offered by the University of British Columbia. The course opened February 1, and runs until March 15, 2022. The time commitment is about 2-4 hours per week (looks like one can still register).

The other ones have start dates around Feb 14 - may still be able to register and it looks like fees are minimal or free.
