What’s been Happening at Forbes Hall?

Thank you to the islanders and friends of Thetis who donated money and/or gave of their time to enable the remarkable rebuild of Forbes Hall Community Centre. Your commitment is bearing fruit as more and more islanders are welcomed back into the Hall.  The expansion project has always been about the long-term needs of our community, and even though it opened during the COVID Pandemic there have been many opportunities to gather safely at Forbes Hall.

Here's a list of all that’s been going on at Forbes Hall in the first four months of 2022... 

Library Days with attendants: Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturday

Tai Chi: Sundays and Mondays

Church: Sundays

Early Morning Fitness: Mondays through Fridays

Serenity Group (Alcoholics Anonymous):  Monday evenings

Primary Students meet with the Librarian: Mondays

Scottish Country Dancing: Mondays

Yoga: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays

Parent & Tot Group: Tuesdays

Ping Pong - Afternoon and Evening Sessions: Tuesdays

Thetis Island Elementary School uses the Assembly Hall for Exercise : Tuesdays

Soup’s On: Wednesdays

Bridge: Wednesdays

Food Bank Distribution: Thursdays

Knitting Bee: Fridays
