Penelakut Tribe - March for the Children

Hi Thetis Islanders, 

Heads up that Penelakut Tribe has invited us to participate on the unceded territory of the Penelakut People on their 2nd annual “March for the Children”  which will be taking place on Aug 1, 2022. The march starts at the Salish Market/Chemainus Ferry Terminal. In the Village of Sunuwnets also known as Chemainus. 

Starting time: 0830h

Please wear your Orange T-shirts, bring a hat & water if it hot. Please contact me if you have questions.
