Fire Department Training Friday
Friday, January 20, 2023 at 9:00AM The TIVFD and the TIVFD Water Auxiliary Team will be operating the Water Tender vehicle on Friday between Hunters’ Pond and Forbes Road.
This training exercise will be used to fill the new 5,000-gallon tank on Forbes Road near the Overbury corner with pond water.
Please be cautious when approaching/passing the crew and vehicle and obey any traffic control directions. We are concerned about our safety and your safety on our roads as the water is being drafted, shuttled and dropped.
Thank you ---
Fire Chief J. Caldbeck
Thetis Island Vol. Fire Dept.
