Drug Poisoning Advisory
Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 7:34AM The Vancouver Island health authority has issued a drug poisoning advisory saying people face an increased risk of overdose when using opioids and stimulants purchased on Vancouver Island.
If a member of our community comes across someone experiencing an overdose, they are asked to call 911 and stay with them, give Naloxone (ask any pharmacy for a free kit) and give one breath every five seconds.
