Local Trust Committee Meeting Notice of Live Stream 9:30 November 7th at Forbes Hall

Hello everyone, thank you for your written submissions to the local trust committee regarding the Abrupt Shellfish application for rezoning and it was great to see so many of you at the applicant’s public information meeting 2 weeks ago.

A number of you have asked about making public comment in person at the meeting on Tuesday at 9:30. This meeting for budgetary and travel reasons is all electronic and does not normally provide for in person speakers.

I have however arranged with the hall to set myself up in the library with the appropriate video streaming equipment to allow you to participate in the meeting during the public comment period which will begin early in the meeting likely at 10:00.

So please come prepared to speak to the LTC via the live streaming video if you are uncomfortable or unable to participate electronically from home or want to have the opportunity to speak "in person" to the LTC. I will be there; staff and others will be participating by video.

I note that if you have already submitted a letter to the LTC there is no need to attend in person however all are welcome. Your written submissions will become part of the public record on the application.

Thank you,

Peter Luckham

Island Trust, Trustee
