Late 70's Nissan P/U EV conversion. As I understand it, the college working in conjunction with an outfit in Nanaimo built these as school projects. The EV technology has change considerably since then.
With the new battery chemistries and their significant drop in price, you buy them once and can add to them if desired, and/or move them to the next vehicle. They are much safer and cleaner than FLA; !/3rd the weight of golf cart batteries, no corrosive vapors, can be mounted any way you like, and virtually no maintenance.
A great project vehicle!!
Will require a new inverter/charger as the voltage is lower in a LFP battery with a different charge/discharge curve. I expect you can also get away with a lower voltage and fewer batteries.
Asking $1,800 OBO, must be sold by the middle of March.
