Firewood Cutting at Moore Hill Nature Reserve

During our regular monitoring at Moore Hill Nature Reserve we discovered that someone has been cutting firewood in the lower area along Pilkey Pt Road. There is also an area near the bottom of the switchback on the Pilkey Pt side of Moore Hill where branches and other yard debris have been dumped within the nature reserve boundary.  

The cutting of trees, removal of firewood and debris dumping are prohibited in the nature reserve and access is by permission only. If you witness these activities taking place, please contact us at info@thetisislandnatureconservancy.org.
