Visitors' Guide to Thetis Island
Monday, April 10, 2023 at 7:21AM Do we want a Visitors' Guide this year? It is a useful way for local businesses and services to make themselves known to visitors, what to see and do (or NOT do) as well as carrying general information for visitors about how the island works.
It is distributed from the ferry booth (if requested), the Chemainus Tourism Information Centre, and various businesses on Thetis and in Chemainus. If you would like to participate in this year's guide, please let me know a.s.a.p. Ideally, we try to get it out in time for the Victoria Day holiday, so we need to know now to start setting it up. If there are enough people to support it, it will happen - if not, not. In the past, we have been able to produce this at a price of $5 per column line for advertisers, and I hope we can keep to that this year, although it will depend on how many are prepared to participate, escalating printing costs being what they are. Nothing will be set up or billed without final permission.
