St. Margaret's Cemetery Annual Work Party
Monday, April 24, 2023 at 11:24AM The St. Margaret's Cemetery Committee is organizing a work party for Sunday May 7th, 9:30 - 12:00. At noon we will break for a picnic lunch and an opportunity to share stories about the lives of the people buried in the Cemetery.
The invite goes out to the entire island community. Many of the graves have loving caretakers, but there are a few whose family and friends are no longer here or unable to take care of them. It is our hope that members of the community would be willing to come out and look after these graves.
I don't know of a better way to spend a morning than taking time out our lives to spend taking care of the memory of people who are now part of our rich island history.
