Ruth & Bob Ferguson
Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 7:50AM Long-time Thetis Island residents Ruth (96 yrs) and Bob (98 yrs) Ferguson died peacefully, together, on sunday, 30th April 2023 at Amica, Somerset House in Victoria BC.
They had known each other for 83 yrs and were happily married for almost 76 yrs!
Survived by their daughter Jane Phillips and son Michael (Doreen) and granddaughter Sarah.
Mom and Dad loved their 40 yrs on Thetis Is. whilst residing at the home they had built at #68 Pilkey Pt. Rd. Ruth was instrumental in starting the Quarterly, Senior suppers...now Soups On and Bob loved table tennis, his John Deer tractor and firing off his carbide Cannon ...for any occasion.
Memorial service in Chemainus and Internment at St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Thetis Island on a date to be determined.
