The zucchini season is upon us so get ready to enjoy all those seasonal favourite recipes like tempura, zoodles, BBQ skewers, chocolate zucchini muffins, breaded zucchini sticks, veggie lasagna, stuffed zucchini and more! (maybe you have some favourite recipe ideas to share with us?)
On the harvest list for this weekend:
Zucchini (did we already mention that :)
Mixed greens
Bok choy
Radish
Cucumbers
Carrots
Beets
Basil
Cabbage
Cherry tomatoes (certified organic from Suntrio)
Beefsteak and Soma tomatoes (from Sunwing)
Cantaloupe melon (certified organic from Longview)
Free range eggs
On the kombucha taps:
Citrus ginger or Nettles and petals
From the production kitchen:
Sundried tomato hummus
Peanut sauce
Jolly green sauce
..... and maybe Chocolate Zucchini cake (if we have time!)
