We have an abundance of so many beautiful vegetables right now. The season is changing and we are picking daily as the cold, damp and mold is right around the corner.
Consider stocking up now for winter. It's a great time to freeze, dehydrate, pickle, ferment.
This week we will have lots of tomatoes, leeks, squash, beets, basil, beans, chard, eggplant, zucchini, cucumber along with everything else!
Weekly feature: Patty Pan Squash
If you haven't tried these beautiful and tasty little squash, now is the time. Fry in coconut oil and garlic, bbq, stuff and roast... any which way they are so sweet and tender right now.
