Repair Fair June 1st, Forbes Hall 10-2
Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 6:20AM The Repair Fair will be a community event where we come together to fix or learn to fix our broken possessions. Thetis Island is blessed with a number of people with a variety of skills. We are reaching out to islanders to come and share their skill and wisdom in a variety of areas. Ideally, we would like to cover the full range of items that need to be repaired, from small engine repair and/or maintenance, to sharpening knives, tools and chainsaw blades, to bicycle and boat maintenance, to mending clothing and darning socks. The list goes on.
Do you have a skill you wish to share? Do you have a repair area that you would like to include? Ranging from assessments to tutorials and demonstrations, with some on the spot minor repairs
Please contact us if you have any ideas or wish to participate.
