Vaccine Clinic May 27th

Many of you will have received your invitation to register for your COVID booster. The current criteria are those over 65, those over 55 with Indigenous background and those immunocompromised.

The nurses will also give COVID vaccine to someone who requests it who is outside of the above spring booster criteria e.g. under 65 years of age. You will have to arrange an appointment time with the nurses on May 27th. The clinic opens at 10.

We request anyone wishing a booster outside of the criteria to let us know so the nurses bring enough vaccine. Please email Michelle Sutter acanthurus61@gmail.com or text 250 613 8289. We need this information by Sunday May 25th. If we do not receive your request there is a possibility there will not be enough vaccine.

A reminder that if eligible you can also receive the measles vaccine. Measles can be a lethal disease, and “natural immunity” can cause life threatening or lethal illness. Vaccination is a much better way to get immunity….
