It contains a summary of what is known as the Tl'uqtinus decision it is also called the Cowichan and/or the Richmond decision.
It is well worth the time to listen to help understand what it's all about.
I thought that given Tuesday is the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation that you and other islanders may be able to find the time in your reflections to listen to this recording.
To help you with the listening, I would say you do not need to listen to it all in one sitting. If you are feeling intimidated by the length which is one hour, I would you suggest you might listen to the first 12 minutes, then if you are so encouraged listen to the next 18 minutes to conclude the summary. Then finally the last half hour is a discussion between esteemed colleagues who engage in conversation about the implications.
