Gate Damage at St. Margaret’s Cemetery

It has come to the attention of those who volunteer to take care of cemetery grounds that the gate at the main entrance off St. Margarets Lane is being damaged by what appears to be repetitive banging or kicking to open it.

If you are riding your bike through the cemetery or walking with a stroller, please respect the work that has gone into creating the gate.

Open the gate properly by hand. Dismount bikes, don’t use the stroller to bang it open.

Also, please clean up after dogs. It is expected that you keep them on a leash.

With thanks,
St. Margaret's Cemetery Board
