It's me again.
I've only got a couple more weekends before I'll be off swimming on other shores besides Thetis Island. So if you've been wanting to do this, now is your opportunity.
The water is really warming up, but it's still just cool enough to give you that oh-so-good feeling.
This week, we'll meet
Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
at the end of Porlier Road, just off Pilkey Point Road.
Fun fact: Laughter, friendship, and regular social connection are some of the strongest predictors of health and longevity for women. Apparently gathering by the ocean checks a lot of boxes.
This is a relaxed, low-pressure women's gathering — come sip your tea, breathe the ocean air, dip, swim, paddle, float, or simply be.
Wetsuit, bathing suit, or birthday suit, all welcome.
Come exactly as you are.
A little ocean time, a little connection, a little courage — that's all this is.
