Chemainus Terminal Short Term Parking Lot ~ Temporary Closure

Paving and Line Painting

Monday May 14, 2018 – Thursday May 17, 2018

Please be advised that the short term parking lot at Chemainus terminal will be unavailable to customers May 14 to 17, 2018. BC Ferries will have a contractor onsite to pave the gravel lot and perform line painting. This work is not expected to affect sailing operations.

The parking lot will close at 8 pm Sunday, May 13. Due to the limited time to complete the necessary work, vehicles remaining in the parking lot after 8 pm will be towed. BC Ferries appreciates the patience and understanding of our customers and neighbours as we perform this required work to upgrade and maintain parking at Chemainus Terminal.

Babysitter Needed for May 20th Wedding

A family who is attending a wedding at Overbury on Sunday, May 20th is looking for a babysitter for their 13 month old daughter.

The mother will help put her daughter to sleep at bed time and will be available if needed.

The time is flexible, start time can be any time between 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm until midnight.

Ukulele Circle

Anyone interested in starting a ukulele circle?

That's a get-together of all stages of players to laugh and learn some songs together.  

Amazon.ca has ukuleles for under $100. And I am lonely and discouraged with my mandolin.  

If we started now, we could have a Christmas Carol ready for the December concert! Email me if you are light-hearted (and perhaps light-headed) enough to start a ukulele circle.
