Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 8:51AM Edith Hyatt is pleased to inform you that her new cat has been found! Lilly had been hiding in the house the whole time, and eating the visiting foster cat’s food and using the litter box, so had not been starving or cold…just very shy. Edith thanks you for your concern. (The live trap they put outside with cat food bait worked well for a greedy and embarrassed raccoon.)

Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 8:22PM Edith Hyatt, on Klahowya Road, recently took in a rescued cat from our visiting vet Martin, who needed to find a home for it from the Prevost Vet Hospital in Duncan. Unfortunately it shot out the door one day last week before the snow storm. The cat is a short-haired spayed female one year old, white with one tabby black ear and a black tail. She does not know the island at all. Any info on sightings appreciated. Call Edith at 246-3038 or Jeannine at 246-3876.
