Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10:01AM Hello friends and fellow islanders,
I am in the final stages of completing a course in Natural Nutrition. The purpose of this course is to reacquaint ourselves with live, natural and good quality food, and to learn how to use our food as medicine to restore our innate vitality; and to increase our awareness and well being. I am looking for 12 people who would be willing to complete a Lifestyle Analysis and a Nutri-systems questionnaire in the next two weeks.
These two evaluations, coupled with a phone or in-person interview and a follow up session will be free to the first 12 people who contact me,
Dawn Gordon, CHHP, RYT – 250-210-0826,
or by email: dawn_gordon@telus.net

Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:46PM On May 7th, the new flapper valve was installed on the culvert under Pilkey Point Road by the lagoon near the end of Marina Drive. This will help to manage mosquito populations. Thanks to Andy Newall, area manager for M.O.T., Grant Gordon, Don Hunter, Ian Ralston, and Wilf Scheuer.
