They will be available for sale at the Book Sale at Forbes Hall on Saturday, April 19th ($5 each) and after that they will be at the Thetis Island Marina store and post office.
The ferry schedule on the back is the new one, which doesn't come into effect until April 28th, so don't discard your old book (or at least the back page) until then!

Friday, April 18, 2014 at 1:44PM Six of our island youth received an award and were celebrated at the Leaders of Tomorrow Awards this past April 11th in Duncan. This program, sponsored by Volunteer Cowichan, enables individuals or community organizations to publicly recognize youth volunteers who provide a variety of invaluable services. Our very own Tegan Luckham was the Youth Speaker at the Award Event this year. Tegan spoke about the importance of volunteering, and how it can benefit the community as well as the individual.
Thank you to Fire Chief Jeannine Caldbeck and the rest of the Thetis Island Fire Fighters, for training and nominating these 6 youth from our Fire Department. A special thank you to Anne-Marie Koeppen, Coordinator of Volunteer Services and her team at Volunteer Cowichan for organizing this special event.
