Woolie Bodies ~ Chickens & Turkeys

Hi all you chicken and turkey lovers,

Gwen and I have frozen chickens for sale at $4.50 per lb. They were slaughtered mid August. We will have fresh turkeys for sale on 3 Oct. 2014. There after frozen. We will have fresh turkeys again on 17 Oct. 2014 and after that frozen. Turkeys are also $4.50 per lb.

If you purchase any of these birds we would ask that you take them home as storage is not an option. As you already know our birds are fed only veggie food with no animal by-products.

I wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you to all of you for the amazing number of responses I have gotten from you all. I have tried to get back to as many of you as possible but I have gotten so many emails time has not allowed me to respond to you all. Soup's On ~ Returns September 24th

Wednesday, September 24th is the first Soup's On of the season.

Join us at Forbes Hall, 11:30 -1:00, or until the soup runs out!

$5.00 for soup, bread and dessert goodies. Take out if there is enough leftover. Coffee and tea...and good conversation.

This time our great volunteer cook is making her renowned SEAFOOD CHOWDER.

Whale Watching Tour

Amaya, our guest dancer at the Gypsy Dancers of the Salish Sea's Island Harvest Hafla, would like to go on a  whale sightseeing tour on Monday, Sept 29.  Does anyone on Thetis know of a company nearby that does whale-watching tours?  Or someone from the island?  Please email halakidance@gmail.com if you know of someone.
