Meow!  We are still looking for new homes!  My name is Joey, age, 10, healthy, super friendly, great mouser, loves people, grey tabby with white socks, a bit heavy set..  And I am Sam, age 8, healthy, born on Thetis, loves hanging out outside but comes in to eat and for some cuddles each day, great mouser, grey tabby.  We can come to one home together or separate.

Plant & Bulb Sale & Flea Market Reminder

On October 4th TICA will be holding a plant and bulb sale. If you plan on dividing up your perennials this year TICA would love your donation of any extra plants for our sale on Saturday, October 4th. Empty plant pots can be found at the Recycling Centre or contact Lesley Buhr or Gloria Taylor for containers. We will come and collect your donation when convenient.

Missing Crab Trap

My crab trap has gone missing, been out twice to look for it, different tides, it was between the Red Nun Buoy off Penelakut and Reed, 57 feet of water, my line was 70 feet, stainless trap, circle of floats...if anyone has seen it it belongs to Steve Bird 250 246 2469  Thanks

Batter's Up! ~ Tomorrow! Hunter Ball! Game, eats, dancing!

Tomorrow at 1:30 pm, the annual Hunter baseball game will be held in Sheep Dip Stadium.

Gwen and Don will provide a turkey for the Pot Luck that follows.  Please bring alternate meat dishes and other foods to go with Hunter's fabulous turkey,

The Pot Luck will be followed by dancing on the beach with the one and only Johnny Blitz!

Flea Market & TICA Cafe

Saturday August 30th ~ 11AM 'til 3PM ~ Forbes Hall

Clean out your closets, basements and garages and bring your cast offs to the Thetis Island Community "Flea Market". Tables are $10.00 each. The Flea Market will run from 11am to 3pm in the tennis court at the hall, with table rental proceeds going to TICA.  

Also on that day our famous TICA Cafe will be serving lunch and dinner with a fantastic menu which includes BBQ Chicken Dinner and Hamburger and Smokies for lunch. Full menu  to be posted later.
