Funeral for Phoebe Spurgin ~ Monday April 15th

There will be a funeral service for Phoebe at 3 pm, Monday April 15th at.St. Peter's Church, Duncan. The church is at 5800 Maple Bay Road. The service will be followed by tea in the church hall.

Both Phoebe and Margaret Glide will be interred in St. Margaret's Cemetery at 3 pm, Saturday, April 27th. Following the interment there will be an informal tea (no speeches) at Forbes Hall in memory of Phoebe.

FAC Meeting Friday, April 12th & Updates

This is a reminder of our local Chemainus-Thetis-Penelakut FAC meeting with BC Ferries executives on Friday April 12th from 11:15 AM to 1:45 PM at the Chemainus Best Western Hotel.

The Friday meeting is an annual event with BC Ferries and we have an agreed upon agenda.  It is not a town hall style meeting.  Residents and ferry users are encouraged to attend to observe the proceedings.  If you would like an opportunity to speak please let me know beforehand so that I can work you in to the agenda.
