Date 2 Nov 2024
Time 11am - 1pm
How is your closet clean out going? If you need to drop off items before 10 am just drop by any time after 9am.
All items will be free so bring some extra bags to carry it all home. I know I will have my eye out for a new to me sweater as my favourite one is now beyond my repair skills.
Hats, mitts, coats, shoes and lots more have been added to the list of items.
Tables will be set up with children, youth, male & female items.
Leftover clothing will be donated to the Chemainus Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store.
Come join the fun.
Thanks for helping make this a new event on Thetis.
Please contact Lynne if you have any questions. - slynne259@gmail.com

Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 9:07AM Thanks to all who joined 60 other islanders at Forbes Hall to celebrate Hallowe’en and our wonderful community.
A fantastic parade was led by a Witch in a huge hat as the mix of adults and kids paraded around the hall ending at the mantel for a group photo.
With almost 20 children - it was very much a family event :)

Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 9:04AM Now that Halloween is behind us, please mark your calendar for the winter concert.
We are still looking for participants to share their talent with the community. Do you have a story to share? Or another act you've been practicing all summer? Do you have a song you'd like to see on the sing along list? Maybe you would like to bake something to the refreshment table?

Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 9:03AM I am having a marine mechanic come over from Ladysmith to do some work for us. No date has been set yet just in case there may be others in need of his services.
If you need winterizing, tune up or other services to be ready for spring...this may be an opportunity to get it done without taking your boat and trailer to the far side.
I used FB MARKETPLACE for correspondence with him and replies have been fast. Check it out
