Warming Centre Wednesday

A reminder that as long as Soups On is not cancelled due to weather, the hall will be open Wednesday 9am - 1 pm if anyone needs a warm place.

We want to have a list of volunteers for when we need to open the warming center and there are no activities planned. Please contact me (Michelle) at acanthurus61@gmail.com if you are willing to have your name on that list. You might never be called but we want to be prepared!

Stay safe and warm.

Haggis Choices at Robbie Burns

Haggis is the centerpiece of the Robbie Burns Dinner. The poet of course wrote one of his most famous pieces about it.

Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,

Great chieftain o the puddin'-race!

Vegetarian haggis? Seems like a contradiction in terms? Think again. The cooks have created a special vegetarian haggis. Very tasty, people were clamouring for the secret recipe the last time it was served.

We will also have traditional haggis that many know and wait for their one chance each year to tuck in!

So there is a haggis for everyone, and for those strongly inclined against haggis of any type there will be a hearty dinner regardless.

Tickets will be available until January 19th, or we sell out!
