UPDATE: House Now Being Moved Thursday Jan. 19th

My apologies to everyone for the continual date changes on the house move. Nickel Bros has now moved it to Jan 19th. I wouldn’t bother you with these continual updates except that I am worried that it’ll affect people’s ability to use the public dock.

Stay tuned and hope this is the last update!

Blessings,

Shelley and Dennis

House Moving Date

In regard to our house moving in, the date has now been changed to Jan 18th. Nickel Bros is the moving company, and the house will be coming in by barge. As such they will needing to do some work on the boat launch starting Monday Jan 16th and they anticipate it will not be available for use by the public until after the house move. We hope this does not inconvenience anyone! Our apologies in advance.

SALE on garlic for the next two weeks (prices listed on our order page).
Our cured storage garlic is looking great. Still perfectly firm and only just starting to show some small signs of shoots inside.
Cured garlic can continue be used for at least another 2-4 months if stored in a cool and dark place. Otherwise, you can just pop off the skin and freeze. Makes it easy for cooking later!

Stay tuned for Jollity powdered garlic coming in Feb. A great pantry staple.

With thanks from Jollity Farm

TI Elementary School Request: Pick Up after Your Dog

Hello Thetis Community,

Lately, we are noticing quite a bit of dog poop on the Thetis Island schoolyard. We understand that the yard is a public space outside of school hours and a few impacts are to be expected. However, we are appealing to the community to ask that you please keep a close watch on your dogs while in the schoolyard and respectfully ask that you pick up after them. There is a garbage can at the back of the school. We want you all to be aware that our kids play daily in the forest between the school and Forbes Hall, so it’s particularly important that we don’t allow our dogs to use this area without picking up after them.

Thank You,
Thetis Island Elementary School Staff & Parents
