Any nominations for vacancies or to challenge for a board position can be made to tirra@thetisisland.net by April 27th. Nominations or challenges will also be accepted at the meeting.

Noise Complaints

Some of our residents were woken up in the middle of the night (from 2 to 3 a.m.) by constant, loud revving of engines.  A little consideration for others would certainly go a long way to making everyone's life a little more comfortable.

This is not the first time that we have been inconvenienced by loud noises when we should all be sleeping, but we would appreciate it if it was the last - or we may have to report it.

Tour de Thetis

There's no podium prizes -- only Fred's 'participation' cookies -- for Tour de Thetis cyclists who finish, or just stop by, on their ride this Saturday morning. This third in a series of free rides (not a race) is for cyclists of all shapes, ages and ability levels on traditional or e-bikes. Some riders  will leave the community hall between 9  and 9.30 a.m. and do the entire course. It goes to the ends of North Cove, Forbes, Bella Vista, Sunrise Point and Pilkey Point. But you can follow any route. And aim to arrive at the hall at 11 a.m.

For more, contact Dave Steen at 250 246-3530 or Fred Clark 250 246-9175
