After 8 ½ glorious years renting a cabin at Jollity Farm John Hannah & Jo-Anne Warnock need to find a new home.
Ideally a 2-bedroom house with garage or an outbuilding for storage.
Jo-Anne has been working at Pot of Gold Coffee for over 20 years and Johnny has been delivering our mail for 18 years.
We would dearly love to stay on Thetis Island.
We can provide references.

We are looking for a few volunteers who could take turns posting the eSPOKES emails.
The pdf of our Guidelines will give you an idea of how this works; eSPOKES is a committee of T.I.R.R.A.

The weekend of March 26th and 27th will see the TIVFD Engine 1 and Tender on the roads on both sides of the island throughout the day as our firefighters take their Emergency Vehicle Driver practical evaluations. For part of this exam there will be a traffic cone course set up at the end of North Cove Road on both days.
Additionally, throughout the coming weeks you will see more Fire Dept. traffic on our roads as members practice for their exam. We have been waiting for two years for COVID restrictions to lift enough to enable the evaluator to certify our emergency vehicle drivers to provincial standards.
Also, of note to residents, you will be hearing the sirens on the TIVFD Rescue vehicle much more than in the past as we travel to a serious medical call and return to the dock or helicopter Landing Zone with the patient. The past local practice here has been to travel “lights only” on “Code 3” calls (life threatening issues/lights and sirens) so as not to overly disturb residents, especially on the middle of the night responses. Because traffic on Thetis Island has increased greatly over the years and most importantly, it is illegal for fire vehicles and ambulances to travel Code 3 without the sirens, you will be hearing us a lot more as we go about our business of serving our community in times of need.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Fire Chief Jeannine Caldbeck
