Jollity Weekly Order Reminders (delivery news update!)

Updates from the farm:
This week we say goodbye and thanks to "Harrison" our trusty delivery van, and hello to "Ben", our new-to-us refrigerated van. In our ongoing efforts to provide fresh, organic and local foods to you, we are also continuing to improve our food safety knowledge and protocols. Jollity Farm has recently sponsored six islanders to take their Food Safe Level 1 and two of us have just aced our Level 2 training. As we continue to collect your groceries and deliver other perishable food items we know how important it is to keep it cool!

For Friday home delivery or Saturday farm pick up:

 - Local Milk & Yogurt orders due by Tuesday morning by 10am
 - True Grain bakery orders due by Tuesday morning at 10am
 - Bagels - multigrain, sesame, everything, plain + cheddar (sold as singles vs. by the 6 pack or dozen)
 - Free Range Eggs
 - Home Grocery delivery from Superstore, Community Farm Shop or 49th - confirm your order by Thursday afternoon
 - Add our spring salad mix to your Friday home delivery! Kale bouquets too!

Organic Compost Delivery Update

Thanks to everyone for your interest in compost.

So, it turns out the price won't be much less than last year with fuel cost increases such as they are!

Regular screened is a bit coarser so perfect for top dressing $95/yard
Ultra-fine is better for raised garden beds, veggies and such $100/yard
Bags of either variety are $8/each per 20 L

First delivery will arrive on April 1 and we will schedule consecutive weekly deliveries as the driver is able.
