Questions, Questions, Questions???

How, Why, What just happened???

We've all had those moments!! Most are delegated to:

"Aaaah, It was JUST a Coincidence!" Or was it???

That's the question, isn't it? Was it really just a coincidence???

If Not a Coincidence, Then???

Perhaps, like myself, your curiosity has caused you to

Pause...... and Ponder…..And Wonder?????

"Why did it??? How did it???" What Just Happened???"

Isn't Life just a journey through experiences

Leaving us with many unanswered questions!

Will we ever find answers or just more questions?

It seems the more I dig, the more complex the questions become!

But I like to ask questions, that's why I wonder!!

???Does anyone else like to ask questions???

Would you like to pause, ponder & wonder on questions???

If that's you, and you'd like to ponder together,

Contact Greg

gnp.gall@gmail.com

And we'll connect!

ThINC - The Ripple - Printed Copies

By now, many of you may have seen ThINC's newsletter, 'The Ripple' in digital form (available on the ThINC website). For those who prefer reading a physical copy or would like something to flip through while waiting for the ferry, we have some printed copies at the ferry terminal as well as at the PO Boxes and will be putting a small stack at Forbes Hall.

I'd like to shout out to the Capernwray admin team for their affable nature and willingness to troubleshoot for the printing of this newsletter!

2022 Phone Book in Progress

I'm working to finish up collecting everyone's information for the next edition of the Thetis Island Phone Book.  If you are new to the island or have been here awhile but are not in the book and would like to be, please let me know a.s.a.p. at veronicashelford@gmail.com.  Please note that this is not merely a social convenience.  It's also a needed resource for the Fire Department, so they know who is where in the event of an emergency call-out, or who to contact if there is damage to property owned by people who aren't here full-time.  If you, for any reason, don't want to be in the book, please consider at least having some contact information in the database that the fire department can access if needed.  Nothing is ever published without your consent, and it is not available digitally or online.  It is simply a local publication, sold on the island only.

While we're on the subject of who and where you are...

LOT NUMBERS (From the 2019 update of the TIID Service Capacity Policy):

"It is the responsibility of property owners and residents to ensure access to their properties meet the following access specifications in order to have a reasonable expectation of emergency service by the Thetis Island Volunteer Fire Department.

"Access Specifications:

"Address/Lot Numbers: Properties are to be posted with the appropriate lot number clearly visible at each point where private driveways or laneways meet public roads. Numbers are to be a minimum of 6 inches (150 mm) in height, and clearly visible from the public road from either direction of approach, day or night."
