Today - Last Day to Book Your Vaccination on Thetis

Today, Tuesday, is the last day before the Thetis Vaccination Clinic starts.  If you haven't yet booked, there is still room on Thursday, June 17, but if you run into trouble with the booking, we have only until 2:30 this afternoon to help you if we can. Remember, this is the last clinic here on Thetis.  If you miss it, you will have to travel elsewhere at a later date.

Book online if you can.  You need your Personal Health Number (PHN) as well as your registration confirmation code.  Or you can book by phone. The call centre booking number is 1-833-838-2323. The booking agents are
not always in BC and will not know where Thetis Island is.  (The postalcode for Thetis is V0R 2Y0.)  If you are told that you need to wait eight weeks, be aware that if you received your first shot here in April
VIHA has made special  arrangements so that you can get your second shot this week...at seven weeks from your first.

If you have trouble getting booked online or by phone, let us know immediately by email with your PHN BEFORE 2:30 and we will try to sort it out for you.

6  matching Newport dining chairs - solid maple wood in dark hickory stain.  Chair seat is upholstered in a creamy seashell colour material 

We may have used this set a total of a dozen times.  Our space here is too small for this set, otherwise we would be keeping it.

In excellent shape.  Couple of surface scratches.  Upholstered chairs have no marks or stains at all. Smoke free home

Telus Booster for Internet

We are Telus customers, and we have received calls about their new product. Apparently, it plugs into your electrical socket and increases internet speeds, without requiring any other wiring or changes.

Has anyone on Thetis tried this new product? If so, we would find it helpful to learn about your experience so far.

By looking at the Telus website, we think the product is called a Smart Hub, but we could be wrong.

Tree Pickup Wanted

The Forbes Hall gardening committee is looking for someone who can pick up a large tree from a wholesale nursery in North Saanich as soon as possible after Thursday, June 17.

A long bed truck with no canopy will be required and the tree will weigh about 500lbs. It will be loaded and unloaded by machine. The tree will be paid for and tagged for pickup.

From the Library

Yahoo!!  The library will reopen June 14.  As before, it is open whenever the hall is open.
It is also open on Saturdays 10-1 and Sundays 1-4 with a Friend of the Library in attendance. 

The library works on the Honour system.  The book drop is not functional yet, so please leave the books inside the building if possible, or give me call.

If you would like more information or a tour let me know.  There are many new residents on the island I am hoping to meet.
