St. Margaret’s Cemetery is in need of old scrape pieces of PVC pipe in order to do water table and soil tests down at the cemetery. If you have some pipe laying around let me know. suzanne.sarioglu@gmail.com
We will need 12 pieces 5 feet long each. Diameter does not matter.
Thank you
Suzanne Sarioglu
The post office will be open usual hours 1000AM to 0500PM tomorrow to deliver federally issued cheques from the receiver general. When I get in tomorrow, I will start phoning (providing you are in the phone book). If you know of anyone looking for federally issued cheques, please pass this on.

Thanks for checking on neighbours after the storm. Power may not have been be restored to everyone yet but Hydro is working hard on it. Great people make for a great community. And aren’t we all glad we didn’t have to deal with snow at the same time!

A big thank you to those who helped 'tuck in' the PAG for a long winter's nap - Dano, Sahir, David, and Jana (and the Vandergaags’ for their truck and Paolo for your supervisory skills).
We now have a fresh load of manure and piles of leaves!

A significant fall storm is set to impact Vancouver Island beginning on Tuesday. An area of low pressure will deepen rapidly some 400 kms west of Vancouver Island on Tuesday. This low is forecast to then curl northwards on Wednesday, remaining offshore through the period.
Coastal areas will see southeasterly winds increase through the afternoon on Tuesday, with peak wind speeds expected for most areas on Tuesday night. Strong winds are likely to continue Wednesday morning but should ease later in the day.
-Strong winds may down trees or cause tree limbs to break.
-Be prepared for power outages.
-Travel delays will be possible.
-Secure loose outdoor objects.

I'm looking for 12 tomato cages to use over the winter.
I can return them before tomato season next year.
Many thanks in advance.
