The water taxi (Saltspring Island Water Taxi) will leave Chemainus on the same schedule as the ferry from the CVRD dock immediately south of the ferry birth (terminal staff will assist with directions if needed).
On Thetis it will leave from the Community Dock (old govy to some), on the same schedule as the ferry.
It'll be a quicker ride both ways, so take that into consideration. The Kuper will sleep at the Penelakut Terminal Monday night...

While walking on our property we noticed a recently dropped cigarette butt.
Do we need to remind people how this and the dryness do not mix?
Not only could we have lost our home but so could every other home on the island been lost.

Tom and Gloria
Hello everybody!
This is Jule & Birte. We are wwoofers and staying with Anaïs and Travis at the moment on this beautiful island.
We‘re planning to visit Victoria for one day within the next two weeks. Is there somebody who can give us a ride to Victoria in the morning and/or back to Thetis in the evening?
We are flexible about the exact day.
So if you are going to Victoria soon and can take us along we would be happy to hear from you.
Mail: birte.vollmer@googlemail.com or phone: 250-416-0674
Games – for the young and young at heart. On Thetis, there is no age limit for staying active and having fun!
Balloon Raffle - $20/balloon (prize values range from $20-$175 so you’re sure to get your moneys worth!)
Dunk Bucket - $1/ball or $5/6 balls
(Made right here on Thetis complete with ‘bells and whistles’, this dunk bucket is suitable for all ages and will cool off those who are daring enough to sit beneath it. We have a ‘special’ umbrella for those who wish to be soaked gently. We welcome anyone who wishes to participate. This contraption might be contagious so you may wish to bring a spare set of clothing. This is not a fully submersed dunk tank, it is merely a summer shower which many of us have been waiting for!)
BBQ - $8 & $10 meal combos. (Hamburger/veggie burger/hot dog, chips, drink & ice cream sandwich.)
Live Pie Auction - Starting bid $20 - We have some fantastic bakers on Thetis so the sky’s the limit!
Thetis Island Memories ~ Digital Slideshow – free admission, donations welcomed.
All proceeds and donations of this event are going to great causes! Half will go to TICA toward the Hall Expansion Project and half will go to TICF to support our fellow islanders in need of health, education and senior support.
Looking forward to seeing many past and present islanders at this years Family Fun Day! The fun begins at 2:30pm.
