Landscape and Gardening Service

We're Ryan and Emily and we're new to the Island. We have a full service landscape and gardening service including weeding, mowing, hedge trimming, pruning, garden design and installation. 

We will also be coming over from Victoria every week with a truck and can bring soil, compost, aggregate or anything you need picked up in the city.

Friends of Furries update

It has been a busy year to date, assisting with the recent veterinary clinic on Penelakut Island led by Canadian Animal Assistance Team, with cat spay and neuters here on Thetis Island, rehoming one cat, etc.  And it is only May!  

Be sure your new cat or kitten is spayed or neutered.  It prevents unwanted kittens, cats injured through fighting, and can prevent some reproductive cancers in your cat as it ages.

Over 95% of our funding goes to veterinary bills to help low income individuals neuter their pets or get ill or injured animals assessed by a veterinarian.  

Our assistance is confidential and provided on a sliding scale.  The remainder of our budget goes to food, supplies or bank fees.

Anyone Going to Bing Creek Disposal?

The Community Association has a small collection of items that need to be disposed of.

Two broken small cabinets, paint, and assorted items.

If you have plans to go to Bing Creek, or just to town with a truck, and would be willing to take these things to Bing Creek, the Forbes Hall Expansion Committee would be very appreciative!

We will cover the disposal costs.
