Pies Needed for Pie Auction

Calling all bakers! Pies needed for the Live Pie Auction at Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 11 at the hall. If you wish to donate a pie for the auction, please contact Mike for more info and drop off details.  All pies must be able to sit at room temperature for several hours.

Looking for Temporary Home for our Cat, Barnie

Barnie needs a temporary home. He is a 12 year old, neutered male, inside cat that shakes a paw. He has never been outside. He is pretty much self sufficient because his food dish automatically feeds him four times a day. He needs fresh water and his litter cleaned.

He isn’t a lap cat and he stays down off the furniture. He needs a quiet home with no other pets and no young children because they are fast and try to pick him up and he takes awhile to warm up to new people. 

We are in between homes until September 5th. And camping has been stressful for Barnie this past week. 

So if you have a quiet place where he can stay inside you will have a cool furry friend for a few weeks. 

Please call if you can help out. We would be more than happy to give you something for your trouble.

I brought over a 22’ nomad travel trailer with intentions to gut and turn into a bunkhouse. It is 80% gutted. A/C and water tanks still intact. The frame would be great for a tiny house/utility trailer/car hauler.

Tree Climbing & Care with Chris Call ~ Sunday, July 29th at the Nature House

From 11 AM to 1 PM, drop in for a demonstration and opportunity to climb a tree with all the special equipment! 

Chris will also be discussing how to take care of the trees around us. 

By donation of $5 per individual, $10 per family or free for Friends of the Nature House.
