Dog Wandering, Yet Again....

Hey Thetis friends!  Anyone recognize this dog?  No collar and just wandering?  I would like to find the owner as this is so unsafe.  Kelly has posted similar concerns.  

My dog would kill this free roamer given half a chance.  Very stressful to let Tody out or walk him right now. Mine isn't allowed out of my yard unless leashed.

SOAS Goods & Services Auction

SOAS is looking for contributions for their Goods and Service Auction to be held during Follies at the Farm on May 18.

Even small services like wood stacking or window washing are a great benefit to community members who find these tasks difficult. Or some baking or a meal. No service is too big or small.

It's a great way to meet new neighbours too. And remember, you can deliver your service at your own convenience.

TIVFD: Fire Hazard Rating Rising

The fire hazard rating is rising due to warming temperatures and wind, with poor recovery (humidity/dew) on most nights.  We are now at MODERATE hazard.  Please be cautious of your yard waste fires and campfires. 

Permits for yard waste are still available for burning on GOOD or YES Venting Index days.  No demolition waste may be burned.  

Campfires permits are available for the month of May at this time, if regulation size and with water and an adult at the campfire until it is extinguished.

Moderate: Forest fuels are drying and there is an increased risk of surface fires starting. Carry out any forest activities with caution.
