Microwave Backup Project

Thetis Island APC will hold a public meeting on November 29, 2018 @ 9:30am, Hunter Room, Forbes Hall to hear a proposal for a TELUS Application to Islands Trust for a Microwave Backup Project.

Cypress Land Services Inc. has submitted, on behalf of TELUS, an application to ISED to locate a 22.0 metre steel triangular self-support tower structure with one (1) microwave dish at 61 Pilkey Point Road.

The library is happy to sponsor a book launch event for Ann Eriksson's latest book.  Dive In a children's non-fiction book about the ocean. Andy Lamb and Suzanne Sarioglu will join her with more exciting presentations. And there will be food!

Young Leghorn Rooster Available

We are coming up from Victoria this weekend and have a Leghorn rooster to give away.  He was hatched July 1st and, even though he hasn't crowed yet, we can't have a rooster in the city.  

He seems very attentive to our girls and aware of his surroundings.
