Set-Up for Christmas Bazaar

All vendors who are going to be a part of this year's Christmas Bazaar, we are setting up on Friday December 1st at 1pm. Like last year we are all setting up the tables and chairs as well as the decorations.

Deer Antlers?

Anyone out there have any deer antlers that they have found while walking the wilds of Thetis Island? Our dog loves them and so does our "grandniece dog" so looking to make these two girls happy dogs.

Christmas Bazaar ~ Island Made Soaps

Handmade soaps, balms and bath goodies will be available at the Christmas Market.  All made right here on Thetis Island using organic local ingredients (when possible), essential oils, and natural scents from infused oils.  Carol Swann is doing "Something Different" these days, and will also have her glass, cards and packaging solutions available.

You can contact Carol with orders for gentle olive oil castile soap (curing now) or soap for special skin needs at seaspray@telus.net

Christmas Bazaar ~ Anaïs' Baking

I am planning to bake some of my organic sourdough bread and brioche for the Christmas market on December 2nd.

Since quantities will be limited and I know several of you have been waiting for bread for a while, I thought I would let you know ahead of time so that those of you who are interested have the option to pre-order. If I get more orders than room in my oven for Saturday, I will plan to bake on Sunday too!

Sourdough plain French loaf: $4

Sourdough poppy seed French loaf: $5

Sourdough brioche: $12 

As always, my breads are made exclusively with organic ingredients, including organic eggs and butter for the brioche.

Check Your Driveway

 Is your Lot Number visible from both directions with the numbers at least 3" tall, and preferably reflective? 

Think about snow loading the tree branches...will your driveway be unobstructed for a minimum of 12' wide and 15' vertical clearance from all obstacles so that Fire or Hydro vehicles can get to you in an emergency?
