Coastal Zone Fire Weather Forecast

6 TO 10 DAY: Next week should mark the beginning of a more prolonged & more significant spell of warm and dry weather that lasts through the middle of July with a high potential for a period of outflow & enhanced drying developing by the end of next week at the latest.

Most of the longer range guidance is hinting at an upper trough brushing mainly north of the region towards the end of next week – this feature appears more likely to bring elevated winds rather than significant rain as the airmass as a whole warms over western North America.

Bees on the Loose

A swarm of bees left my property on Thursday.

There is nothing to be alarmed about as the bees are quite docile during a swarm and pose no danger as long as left alone.

If you see them, they may land in a large clump in a tree, please let me know and I will come and collect them.

Thank you

Murray Fraser
