Thetis Island will be under a complete fire ban as of midnight Wednesday July 5th, 2017. No further campfire permits will be issued.
Prohibited fires:
Propane campfire appliances with CSA approved labels will continue to be allowed during this ban.
This prohibition will remain in effect on Thetis Island until October 31st or until further notification.
As of Thursday noon, all fires in the Coastal Fire Region (excluding the Tofino/Ucluelet fog zone) will be prohibited so if you plan on camping in a Provincial Park you should take your portable propane campfire appliance with you.

Watch for our sign along North Cove Road at the former Camp Columbia.
Have a great Canada Day, and we hope to see you all there!

You can bring a partner but you do not have to have one; soft shoes and light clothing are advised. Be prepared for a good laugh, we are not terribly serious and most of us are past our "best before" date. However, all ages from mid teens to oldies are very welcome.
