Sunstrings Orchestra Performance
Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:11AM Sunstrings Orchestra will be offering a concert at the Thetis Island Community Centre at 1:30 pm on Saturday April 7th.
This elementary string orchestra from Sunrise Waldorf School will be performing a few of their favorite pieces as they prepare to participate in the Victoria Festival of the Arts at the end of April.
Come out and enjoy a little something different from these wonderful students.
Concert is sponsored by the Thetis Island Arts Council, and is by donation with the proceeds going to help fund our trip to Victoria.

I am sorry to say I will have cancel yoga again for this coming week April 3 and 5th. My truck is still in the shop! Ugh! I am looking forward to seeing you in class when I finally get back on Thetis, which should hopefully be the following week.

Sunday, April 1, 2018 at 8:15PM The Last Boat of Walkers, heading to Pioneer Pacific's Dock to complete their walk (72 walkers, runners & cyclists used the marine connection to do the round the island walk.

A huge thank-you is given to all who participated, & to all of those who “made it happen”.
It was a great event with so many involved for the dinner, trivia night, and the walk. T-shirts were on most, proudly being part of a caring, Thetis Island team.
While the final amount this event has raised towards the Forbes Hall Expansion has not yet been determined, one thing is for sure ~ it truly takes a village to raise a hall.
