Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 10:59AM After a two-year hiatus - I am coming back to teach yoga on Tuesdays and Thursday’s.
I am still recovering from severe sciatica (or something painful like that, and not really walking for the past 3-4 months), so this yoga is going to be gentle, slow, exploratory and fun!
We might start with a little free dance movement, some breath work, some body awareness and gentle lengthening and strengthening.
If you are injured, healing, just looking for a fun, kind, gentle movement I invite you to come explore your inner being on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:20-10:30.
For those who don’t know me I have been a holistic health practitioner for the past 17 years, and I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and I have extensively studied holistic nutrition and Ayurveda during the past 5 years and it is my joy to sprinkle these teachings into the practice.
I am going to keep it simple and accessible to everyone and simply say by donation, pay what you feel your benefit is.
Den, my oldest beginner at 90 always wondered why there weren’t more seniors and more men in these classes. He was one of my greatest inspirations and I miss his gentle smile.
Come explore - I have booked the hall from June 26th - August 29th and then Sept 19th-Dec 20th.
Tuesday’s and Thursday’s - if 9:30 is better than 9:20 let me know. Curious.

Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 10:56AM As an ambassador for Canada Parks and Wilderness (CPAWS) I made a commitment to engage in a public education campaign.
The purpose of this campaign was to inform the residents of Thetis Island about the creation of a National Marine Protected Area in the Salish Sea. CPAWS is a not for profit society which works hard and diligently on conservation campaigns across Canada.
Their funding is largely based on donations from supporters. A poster outlining the NMCAR (National Marine Conservation Area) proposed boundaries and other information was made by CPAWS at some cost and was posted at the THETIS ferry terminal community information Board.
It has disappeared. I am asking the person or persons who removed that poster to please put it back. Whether you agree or disagree with the proposed Marine Conservation Area, by removing that poster you have denied other community members access to information, which they are entitled to have.
