Roy Pickford

Roy Pickford, dear to many on Thetis Island for many many years passed away on the 14th of this month.  A brief note from his daughter Verna said  

"Roy passed away peacefully this afternoon, January 14th, in Victoria hospice. I was able to be at his side and my brother stayed with him much of the time this week.  A life well lived!"  

Verna will be joining any of us that would like to honor Roy in memory of his life at our Forbes Hall library on Sunday afternoon, the 26th of January, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Refreshments will be served. We look forward to sharing stories and memories, see you there.
