Flare Fire Started

Monday evening three marine flares were shot from a boat of a person known to live on Thetis and one started a bush fire on Penelakut.

The Penelakut Fire Dept. was called out to extinguish the fire. The RCMP were informed.

If you have any information about this extremely dangerous act, please call the Ladysmith RCMP whom have started the file and are investigating.
