Fire Permit Process and Response

Please understand that there is only one person (Veronica) handling the Fire Permit process and she cannot always respond immediately. 

Allow 24 to 48 hours for her to handle the process. 

The Province unexpectedly rescinded the outdoor burning bans in the Coastal Region late Tuesday afternoon. We are trying to keep on top of the volume of immediate requests in a timely manner. 

And significantly, for the next few days at least, the Venting Index for our area is poor and yard waste smoke producing fires wouldn’t be permitted anyway.
