Join Us for This Week’s S4 Event - Shoreline Restoration with Kelly Loch!

Sunday, July 13th
1:00-2:30 PM Site visit at 83 Blue Heron Rd
3:00-5:00 PM Talk at Forbes Hall

Join us for the second event in our S4 Speaker Series, featuring Kelly Loch from the Stewardship Centre for BC. Kelly will share insights from her work with Green Shores, a program that promotes sustainable shoreline use through education, planning, and design, while protecting the ecological functions of shoreline systems.

Learn how waterfront property owners can support healthy shorelines, explore local restoration efforts, and discover practical tools for resilient coastal living.

About the Speaker: Kelly Loch is a Registered Professional Forester with over 25 years of experience in environmental stewardship. As the Resilient Coasts for Salmon Projects Coordinator with the Stewardship Centre for BC, she supports Green Shores projects and develops tools to help communities protect and restore coastal ecosystems.
